New York, NY– October 6, 2026 – Altro Health, the B2B platform that connects small and medium-sized wellness businesses to high-demand medical offerings like peptides, GLP-1s, hormone therapy, and more, today announced $7M in seed funding led by NFX, known for its portfolio of investments including Lyft, DoorDash, Poshmark, and Trulia. The investment was also backed by Founder Collective, an early investor in WHOOP, and Abby Miller Levy of Primetime Partners, which invests in the longevity economy.
The longevity treatment market is on track to reach nearly $47B by 2031, but demand is outpacing the industry's ability to deliver it safely. The result is a surge in gray market peptide sales, which is already nearing $100M. Positioned as a “Shopify for wellness businesses,” Altro enables gyms, coaches, medspas and wellness centers to offer clinical services like labs, hormone therapy, peptides, and GLP-1s without having to build the infrastructure themselves.
Through a network of board-certified clinicians and licensed pharmacies, Altro gives wellness businesses the technology and infrastructure to launch and scale clinical services under their own brand, without building a healthcare operation from scratch, all while maintaining the trusted client relationships they've already built.
"D2C brands are fighting over the same customers, so we went after something bigger - giving the businesses those customers already trust the infrastructure to deliver health optimization services," said Andrea Corleto, Founder and CEO of Altro Health. "Consumers shouldn't have to risk going to gray market sources, and businesses shouldn't have to reinvent the wheel to offer the services their clients need. Altro Health built the platform with real clinical oversight - deepening trust between businesses and customers, and helping people actually get access to the health optimization products and services they want but can’t reliably find.”
“We invested in Altro because we saw a massive new consumer category with no clear leader,” said James Currier, General Partner at NFX. “Demand for this isn't going away. The question is who builds the trusted infrastructure to meet the demand safely, at scale. We believe that Altro, built by an advisory team of clinicians trained at Harvard Medical School, Johns Hopkins, and Mayo Clinic, is uniquely equipped to do just that.”Altro is available in all 50 states and D.C., and is already being used by hundreds of wellness businesses. The recent investment will fuel Altro's product, team and go-to-market growth, with the mission of giving wellness businesses access to offerings that have historically been out of reach.
About Altro
Altro Health is the clinical infrastructure built for wellness businesses. Backed by NFX, its software gives businesses a fast, simple way to launch clinical services they can't offer on their own, including blood testing, prescription medications and peptides, in as little as 1 business day. Every service is backed by a board-certified clinical team and US-based, licensed pharmacies that conduct the necessary sterility and purity testing to ensure quality. By providing the technology layer that connects wellness businesses to the clinical services their customers are already seeking, Altro Health helps businesses expand their offerings, capture new revenue, and take that demand back from the gray market.
